Family & Community Engagement Partner; FCEP

• The post holder will work in close partnership with parents, carers, and families to help remove barriers to learners’ attendance, engagement, wellbeing, and achievement, both within and beyond the school environment.
• Through consistent, trusted communication and proactive support, the post holder will strengthen family engagement and contribute positively to learners’ progress and outcomes.
• The role involves coordinating and delivering targeted individual and group interventions for learners and their families, working collaboratively with school staff and external professionals to ensure timely, joined-up support.
• The post holder will empower families by raising aspirations, building confidence, and promoting positive change, enabling families to develop the skills and belief needed to improve their own circumstances.
• The post holder will play a key role in establishing CHS as a welcoming community hub. This includes maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local services and provision, signposting and facilitating access to appropriate support, and fostering strong, positive relationships with families and the wider community to ensure sustained engagement and impact.
