Senior Contracts Manager

Learning Plus, part of People Plus, delivers skills and vocational training that helps learners aged 19yrs and over gain qualifications and move into sustainable work, many of them from areas where access to good training has been limited. We are looking for a senior contracts manager to lead delivery on designated contracts within Central England and deputise for the Divisional Managing Director when needed.
You will line manage the business development, delivery and internal quality teams on your contracts, making sure learners are eligible and suitable for their courses, supported through every stage of their learner journey, and taught to at least a "good" standard under the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework. You will own the delivery schedule, manage budgets and learner starts against contract targets, and carry out compliance audits, learning walks and observations of teaching, learning and assessment.

You will also coach other contract managers and look for new business and better ways of working.
We would like to hear from you if you have substantial experience of managing skills and vocational training within an FE and skills provider, including working in an independent training provider during Ofsted inspection. You will have led teams against KPIs, audited for quality and compliance, and be confident collating and presenting data. A designated safeguarding officer, IQA or level 4 teaching qualification would be an advantage.
The role is 37.5 hours a week, based at head office (Birmingham) and in the field as the business requires, with some evening and weekend work, and pays up to £43,000.
