Aboutthe Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Construction Lecturer to join an experienced department, delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across multi-skills programmes. In this role, you will design and lead engaging, inclusive lessons that meet curriculum standards and reflect current industry practice.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver inspiring teaching and learning across multi-skills construction courses.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and ongoing course development.
- Provide robust academic and pastoral support to help every student achieve their full potential.
- Track and monitor student progress effectively across a range of programmes.
- Embed contextualised Functional Skills within the subject area.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and industry partners to ensure an outstanding educational experience.

Qualification:
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, DET) or a willingness to work towards one. - Subject
Qualification:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant Construction discipline. - Core
Skills:
Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics (or equivalent). - Experience:
Proven track record of teaching Construction across Levels 1, 2, and 3 within a Further Education or training environment. - Development:
Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD). - Personal Attributes:
Strong communication skills, a flexible approach, a solid understanding of current challenges within FE, and a commitment to inspiring learners.
