Pastoral Manager South East Birmingham
Pay: £180 £ 200 per day £900 £ 1,000 per week
Start: ASAP
PK Education is recruiting an experienced Pastoral Manager to join a secondary school in South East Birmingham
.
We are looking for someone passionate about supporting young people, with the confidence to manage behaviour, promote positive attendance and provide effective pastoral support to pupils.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing pastoral and wellbeing support to students.
- Monitoring and supporting behaviour, attendance and punctuality.
- Managing challenging behaviour and carrying out restorative conversations.
- Building positive relationships with pupils and helping remove barriers to learning.
- Liaising with teachers, Heads of Year, SEND and safeguarding teams.
- Communicating with parents/carers and external agencies when required.
- Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a Pastoral Manager, Head of Year, Behaviour Mentor, Learning Mentor or similar school-based role, with strong behaviour management and communication skills.
