Ninestiles, an Academy is situated in a large and diverse site which houses around 1500 students and nearly 230 staff. Parts of the building are Victorian whilst there are also areas of new build. It isa highly successful academy with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

This is an opportunity to join an established teamof cleaners who work well together to maintain high standards throughout our academy. Each cleaner is responsible for an area andwill be expected to clean to the frequency and standard set out. At the direction of the Site Manager, you may be asked to clean areas other than your normal area as required. It is expected that you will be enthusiastic, flexible and care ab outdoing your job well and will have some previous cleaning experience.

Purpose

of Role

Tocarry out cleaning as directed, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting etc. Report all Health and Safety issuesto the Site Manager on duty and Comply with all the Trusts policies and procedures, including the Health and Safety policy.

Youmay be required to undertake training as identified as necessary particularly in relation to machinery/equipment. Itwill be essential that you comply with all Health and Safety regulations andreport any concerns to the Site Manager on duty.

Itis important that you enjoy working within a school environment where you willcome into contact with our learners on occasions. All collegues working at the Ninestiles, an Academy will be expected to share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and successful candidates will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check.
