Maths Teacher / January Start / Crewe / Maternity Cover Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking for a new opportunity from January? Academics , a reputable education agency, are currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive secondary school near Crewe, Cheshire East, who are looking for a confident and committed Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for a stable, long-term role, covering a maternity absence from January 2027 through to the end of the academic year in July 2027.
The Role:
Teach engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and support all learners Build positive relationships with students and create a positive learning environment Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their potential Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management Monitor and assess student progress Contribute positively to the wider school community We're Looking For: QTS with a specialism in Secondary Mathematics Recent experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management A positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach to teaching The ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Why Academics?
