KS1 Teaching Assistant - Stechford

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Stechford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing, helping pupils build confidence and reach their full potential during the important early stages of their education.

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide individual and small-group support to help pupils progress with their learning.
• Assist with classroom activities and promote positive behaviour.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Support pupils with a range of abilities, learning styles and additional needs.
• Encourage children’s independence, confidence and social development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure pupils receive appropriate support.

• Experience working with children in a school, nursery, children’s residential home or a similar setting.
• A caring, patient and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and wellbeing.

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs.
