Prospero Teaching is working with a medium-sized, mixed secondary school in Birmingham, UK. They are seeking a Math teacher to join the team in January 2027.We are working together to source a teacher who is able to teach Key Stage 3 (Grades 7-9), Key Stage 4 (Grades 10- 11) and Key Stage 5 (Grades 12-13).

This secondary school is located 30 minutes from downtown Birmingham, using public transport, has a relatively low cost of living and property rental prices are very reasonable. Whether you like a quieter life or if you want to access the hustle and bustle of Birmingham, this is a great place to live.

• Have excellent subject knowledge in Math
• Have experience of raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment
• Have a genuine belief in the potential of every child

• Successfully manage classes and deal with challenging behaviour
• Encourage students to reach their full potential
• Be patient and have a good sense of humour

• Have a Bachelor of Education or equivalent, with good standing
• You hold the right to work and teach in the UK (UK Passport, Ancestry Visa, Spousal Visa or Youth Mobility Visa)
• Be eligible for QTS
• Have up-to-date Safeguarding training within the last year (Prospero offers accredited CPD training)
• Successfully undergo RCMP-certified criminal record checks
• Provide at least two professional teaching references covering the last two years
