About the Role

You'll join a training provider as a Learning Support Assistant, assisting teaching staff across a broad range of academic and vocational subjects. You'll play a vital part in creating an inclusive, positive learning environment, working both in the classroom and around the centre to help learners engage fully with their studies.

This role is about more than classroom assistance. You'll help learners overcome barriers, build confidence and work towards their goals, preparing them for life beyond education. Whether you already have experience in learning support or are looking to start a career in this field, you'll be given the guidance and backing you need to succeed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teaching staff in delivering academic and vocational sessions across a variety of subject areas.
  • Working with learners in the classroom and around the centre to help them access the curriculum.
  • Helping learners build confidence, independence and the skills they need to achieve their goals.
  • Contributing to a positive, inclusive environment where every learner feels supported.
What We're Looking For

  • A genuine commitment to supporting learners to achieve their potential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable, patient and proactive approach to supporting diverse needs

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Previous experience in a learning support, education or care setting
  • Experience supporting learners with additional needs
What We Offer
  • Term-time only working, with academic holidays free
  • Supportive, collaborative team culture
  • Guidance and development pathways for those new to learning support work
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference to learners in your local community

If you're ready to help learners build the confidence and skills they need to thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
