Key Tasks
  • Support contract mobilisation, including CBRE QHSE implementation and risk management processes, and development/testing of operational procedures.
  • Onboard and train engineering staff.
  • Investigate and rectify technical faults.
  • Participate in site scenario/best‑practice training and ensure systems are updated.
  • Ensure routine maintenance of plant, equipment and systems meets and exceeds expectations and SLA.
  • Ensure reactive repairs are undertaken safely and within appropriate timescales.
  • Liaise with and support supervision of subcontractors.
  • Maintain adherence to Permit‑to‑Work systems.
  • Support the Account Manager with statutory compliance and record‑keeping for CBRE Quality Management System.
  • Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments to ensure safe working practices.
  • Supervise engineering subcontractors and verify contractual commitments and site operating procedures.
  • Provide a safe & healthy work environment and ensure compliance with all company and client policies.
  • Respond to work interruptions, outages or emergencies in line with SLAs.
  • Support and promote DCS Shield implementation and CERM Quantum adoption and compliance.
Innovation
  • Provide input for development of client improvement solutions.
  • Further develop operating standards, processes and procedures.
  • Identify and implement innovations across the contract to enhance performance and grow the team’s knowledge.
Operational Excellence
  • Communicate high‑priority tasks and issues to end users, clients and CBRE management.
  • Assist and enhance service delivery through best practice and effective use of site systems and equipment.
People
  • Responsibility for own training requirements and development program, including competency assessments, critical services training and scenario exercises.
  • Promote best practice and cultural carrier.
  • Build and develop relationships with key business and account stakeholders.
Building Relationships
  • Understand, anticipate and deliver customer (internal and external) needs while building effective relationships and optimising contract performance.
  • Respond positively to internal and external customers, often in a matrix environment, through effective communication and personal accessibility/credibility.
Education
  • Hold academic passes with at least GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Higher educational qualifications to “A” level (or equivalent).
Skills
  • Computer literate, IT skills for key tasks and business reporting.
  • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Organised and open to new ways of working to challenge inefficiencies.
  • Team working and customer‑facing experience, good communicator with computer literacy.
  • Experience in a running Permit‑to‑Work system and accountability for site works.
  • Flexible working, ability to manage workloads.
  • Self‑motivated and able to deliver under pressure.
Experience
  • Previous experience in a service industry role.
  • Part of a high‑performing team.
  • Management skills to maximise the performance of staff directly or indirectly.
