HS2, Britains new high-speed railway is at peak construction. Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2s construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Plant Foreperson

Based in Birmingham - the Central Region runs from the east of Birmingham into the city centre, comprising Sublot Delta, 1B, 4 and 5S. More than 50% of the structures within IPT Area North are located in the Central Region. This region, which covers a complex urban environment, also includes the 3.5 mile twin bore Bromford Tunnel. It also includes Interchange Station, as well as crossing three major highways (A45, M6 and M42).

• Promote Balfour Beatty Vinci Values and maintain a strong focus on Zero Harm.
• Support sustainability initiatives and ensure timely delivery of required results.
• Manage the C5 Plant Operator Relief Team, operator compliance, matrices, upskilling, and TIPS-related processes.
• Oversee operational support tasks, including holiday cover, site requests, and out-of-hours contact for site operations.
• Manage key plant-related responsibilities such as the Tower Light fleet and acting as the main contact for TIPS payment queries.

• Experience working in an office environment with strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
• Strong administration and communication capabilities.
• Able to work well under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Demonstrates a customer-focused approach in all tasks.
