Graduate Engineer – Systems Engineering

We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join our growing Systems Engineering team from September 2026. This position will suit a committed and ambitious engineer who can demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills combined with commercial awareness and the ability to play their part in growing a dynamic high-performance team.

These roles can be based from our Manchester or Birmingham offices.

• Support the delivery of Systems Engineering aspects of projects, which may include:
  • Requirements Engineering (RE)
  • Integrated Systems Design (SD)
  • Systems Analysis e.g. Functional, Physical, Performance
  • Systems Modelling
  • Systems Integration (SI)
  • Product Integration
  • Design to Cost / Value Engineering (DtC)
  • Configuration and Change Control Management (CM & CC)
  • Verification and Validation (V&V)
  • Specialist Systems Engineering discipline activities (e.g. Safety, Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, EMC, Human Factors, etc.)
• Deliver Systems Engineering deliverables within time and budget.
• Maintain competence framework for Systems Engineering resources.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with all external parties to enhance the reputation of the company.
• Work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Supervise Systems Engineering technicians.

• Engineering degree (a postgraduate qualification in Systems Engineering desirable).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated team player capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Ability to build and maintain good relationships with engineers from other internal discipline teams to promote inter‑disciplinary working relationships and a “One Team” ethos.
