Hvac Project Manager

Position: Hvac Project Manager (Permanent)
True are partnering with a specialist mechanical design & installation contractor delivering high-quality projects across the West Midlands. Operating from a modern, barn-converted office near Nuneaton, they’re now looking to appoint a HVAC Project Manager to support their continued growth and expanding workload.

As HVAC Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of multiple live projects at any one time, typically 2 to 5, covering a broad range of mechanical installations including air conditioning, ventilation, chiller changeovers, pipework, plumbing, CAT B fit-outs, and building services upgrades. Project values range from £5K up to £3M, offering a mix of fast-turnaround and more complex delivery.

This is not a role that requires staying away or constant site presence. You’ll be based predominantly in the office, carrying out weekly site visits across the West Midlands to check progress, meet engineers, and ensure quality. With strong in-house support and experienced PMs specialising in ducting and ventilation already in place, this is an excellent opportunity for someone earlier in their PM career who wants to grow into a well-rounded mechanical project manager.

HVAC Project Manager Package:

* £55,000 basic salary (DOE)

* £5,000 car allowance

* Company profit-related bonus

* Office-based role in a modern converted barn (Nuneaton)

* Projects all based in the West Midlands – no national travel

* Strong pipeline of mechanical installation and fit-out works

We’re looking for someone with:

* Experience in mechanical building services (AC, ventilation, pipework, plumbing, or mechanical fit-out)

* Ability to manage multiple projects at once and coordinate small engineering teams

* Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset

* A willingness to learn and develop across full-scope mechanical delivery

* Good communication skills with confidence in client and engineer interactions

* Located within a reasonable commute to Nuneaton

The Role:

* Manage 2–5 mechanical projects at a time across the West Midlands

* Office-based delivery with weekly local site visits

* Oversee mechanical installations: AC, vent, chiller changeovers, pipework & fit-out

* Work alongside senior PMs and a supportive delivery team

* Maintain programme, quality, and engineer coordination

* Contribute to a growing, collaborative, and forward-thinking mechanical contractor
