Position: Freelance Building Surveyor (Outside IR35)
Freelance Building Surveyor PFI Lifecycle Survey Programme (Birmingham) We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Building Surveyor to support a PFI lifecycle survey programme across a portfolio of assets in Birmingham. This role is suited to a surveyor with strong technical knowledge of lifecycle planning within PFI/PPP environments and experience surveying operational buildings. Key Details

Competitive daily rate (outside IR35, where applicable) Scope of Work Undertaking lifecycle condition surveys across PFI assets Assessing building fabric, components, and key lifecycle elements Reviewing asset condition against lifecycle models and replacement assumptions Identifying defects, backlog items, and lifecycle risks Producing clear, robust survey reports to agreed templates and standards Working within live operational environments and liaising with site stakeholders Supporting programme delivery to defined timescales Requirements Qualified Building Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent preferred, but not essential with relevant experience) Demonstrable experience delivering PFI / PPP lifecycle or condition surveys Strong understanding of asset lifecycle planning and long-term maintenance strategies Ability to work independently across multiple sites High standard of technical reporting and attention to detail Comfortable working within operational buildings Full UK driving licence preferred Whats on Offer Competitive daily rate Clearly defined, programme-based workload Immediate start Opportunity to work on a structured PFI lifecycle survey programme If you are a Building Surveyor with relevant PFI lifecycle experience and short-term availability, please get in touch with your CV and availability.
