Structural Engineer

Position: Structural Engineer (Permanent)
Astute's Nuclear Team is partnering with an international design consultancy who are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to join their busy established team in Birmingham city centre.

Responsibilities and duties of the Structural Engineer role

Reporting to the Team Leader you will:

Deliver design work for heavy civil structures, this can include;
Bridges, Maritime, Tunnels and Nuclear
Assist senior members of staff with completing projects in a timely manner
Attend site visits and liaise with clients as and when is needed
Complete assessment and inspection work of existing structures

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

3-5 years' experience within Structural Design
Someone who is actively working towards Chartership (ICE or IStruct

E)

Experience with any of the following sectors:
Bridges, Rail, Maritime, Tunnelling and or Nuclear

Personal skills

The Structural Engineer role would suit someone who is:
