A Structural Project Engineer is required to join an award-winning, multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy in Birmingham. We are actively seeking a Structural Project Engineer. The company is looking for a Structural Engineer who is eager to advance their career while working on a diverse array of building design projects across various sectors. As a Structural Project Engineer your role / duties will include:

• The delivery of a wide variety of project types:
  Educational, sports facilities, regeneration or local areas, commercial and urban village projects etc.
• The development of early stage concept designs, reviewing and quality checking drawing information before it is issued
• Continuation of projects to detailed design stage
• Attendance to project meetings representing the Client during early design stage and construction stage

Ideally applicants will have the following skills / abilities:

• Post graduate structural design experience which would ideally be approximately 3 years+
• Experience of delivering structural design works under minimal or even no supervision for someone more experienced
• A good grounding in structural design and good knowledge and understanding of buildings to draw upon; having already commenced your career and progressed within a Consultancy led environment
• Working knowledge of key design software and an understanding of how to implement model validation on these packages
