A leading civil and infrastructure consultancy is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their established Birmingham office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to step into a senior role with real influence, working across a diverse portfolio of UK projects.

You'll take ownership of geotechnical design and delivery, supporting major infrastructure, highways, rail and development schemes. The position offers a strong mix of technical work, project leadership and mentoring responsibilities.

• Lead geotechnical design, analysis and reporting
• Oversee ground investigations and interpret geotechnical data
• Produce calculations, specifications and technical documentation
• Support junior engineers and contribute to team development
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders

• Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or related engineering discipline
• Strong background in geotechnical design and ground investigation
• Confident using industry software (e.g., PLAXIS, Geo Studio, WALLAP)
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Chartered or working toward chartership (advantageous)
