Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing Engineering team in Birmingham. You'll play a key role in delivering innovative infrastructure and development solutions for a broad range of projects, working alongside architects, planners, surveyors, and urban designers.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed‑use developments.
Prepare and review detailed designs, calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
Deliver infrastructure designs including earthworks, drainage, highways, and utilities.
Oversee Section 38, 104, and 278 works.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to unlock development potential and support planning submissions.
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and external stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure project success.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to developing a resilient, capable team.
About
Degree-qualified Civil Engineer, ideally Chartered or working toward Chartership (ICE or equivalent).
Strong technical capability in civil engineering design, including drainage, highways, and utilities.
Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Info Drainage).
Clear communicator with strong client‑facing skills.
Motivated, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects effectively.
