Civil Engineer

Are you a Civil Engineer  Are you ready to take up a vital role in some of the UK’s most exciting and innovative  and take a leading role in shaping the future We are looking for an energetic and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team within the Design & Advanced Technology (D&AT) Practice of  play a vital role in delivering transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on landmark engineering projects both domestically and internationally.

We offer hybrid working which involves 3 days per week being office/site based.  This position is based in our Bristol or Birmingham offices.

As aCivil

Engineer in the D&AT practice, the successful candidate would have the following responsibilities:

- Responsible forinputting and/orpreparingtechnical deliverables such as designreports,specifications,drawings, calculations, and scopes of work with defined scope.

Provide technical input into project design deliverables for Civilaspects of multi-disciplinary projects and work with the Civilteam leadtorecommendinput into overall project milestones and programmes.

Work independently with moderate technical guidance.

Use technical experience andjudgement to solvedesignproblems whereappropriateandprovideinformalguidance to junior team members.
* Adegree inCivil

Engineeringor equivalent.
* Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer.
* Takesbroadperspective toidentifyinnovative solutions to design problems.
* Ability to work independently with moderate technical guidance.
* Proficiency in applicable analytical software and related tools such as Causeway Flow,Info Drainageand Civil3D.
* Experience inthe

Energy or Defencemarkets is beneficial but not required.
* Demonstrates strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively within diverse multi-disciplinary teams.
* A proactive, highly motivated mindset with a collaborative approach to drive teamwork andsharedsuccess across projects.

Proven experience indelivery of technical design work as part of aCivilengineering design delivery teamfor adesign consultancy.

Requires broad knowledge and practical experience in external works such as drainage, utilities,pavementsand earthworks.

- Practical knowledge of current design codes and standards as well as industry best practices, including CDM Regulations.
