Up to £75,000 DOE
Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, my client are looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead their cladding, façade, and roofing design function.
This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking company delivering high-profile building envelope projects — and to play a key role in shaping the next phase of their growth.
What You’ll Be Doing- Leading and mentoring a high-performing design team
- Managing façade and roofing design from tender through to installation
- Ensuring compliance across structural, fire, thermal, and weather performance requirements
- Collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and clients
- Driving value engineering and technical innovation
- Aligning design solutions with fabrication and on-site delivery
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and envelope performance
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM preferred)
- A commercially aware leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment
