Senior Sales Engineer

Our client is a leading climate solutions company is looking for Sales Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Controls to generate new business opportunities within HVAC and process cooling industries.

You'll conduct site visits, collaborate with engineering teams to design customised solutions, and maintain strong customer relationships. This role directly contributes to the company's mission of delivering innovative climate solutions that address global sustainability challenges.

• Identify and target potential customers within HVAC and process cooling industries to generate new business and pipeline opportunities
• Develop sales strategies grounded in market research and customer needs analysis
• Provide technical guidance on equipment solutions including process chiller units and temperature control systems
• Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and present tailored solutions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design customised climate control solutions
• Maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through regular communication and support
• Ensure all activities comply with quality, health, safety and ethical frameworks
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates
• Participate in professional development through structured learning programmes

• Qualification or applied experience in engineering or a related technical field
• Proven experience in sales and customer relationship management, preferably within HVAC or refrigeration sectors
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated approach to meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Valid UK driving licence
