Tendering Engineer (HV)
Our client, a recognised leader in the power utilities sector, is seeking a High Voltage Tendering Engineer to join their team specialising in high voltage power distribution and energy projects. This role involves preparing and managing tenders for high voltage power systems, ranging from 11kv to 132kv, supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure within the energy industry. The position offers an opportunity to work remotely or follow a hybrid working model, with a focus on delivering precise estimates for complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and prepare detailed tender estimates for high voltage projects from 11kv up to 132kv
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather and verify technical data
Analyse specifications and drawings to ensure accurate costings aligned with project requirements
Assess risk factors and incorporate them into tenders to optimise outcomes
Contribute to the review and submission of competitive proposals within deadlines
Maintain comprehensive records of tender documents and estimations for future reference
Support the review of contractual terms relating to high voltage works
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in estimating for high voltage power projects, particularly 11kv to 132kv
Understanding of high voltage systems, including 33
Kv, 11kv, and 132kv networks
Familiarity with tender processes within power utilities, energy, or power distribution sectors
Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail in cost estimation
Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple tenders simultaneously
Proficiency in relevant estimating software and technical documentation
Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams
Benefits:
£50,000-£55,000 per annum
