HSE Officer

M-Tec Engineering is recruiting on behalf of global manufacturing organisation who requires a HSE Officer

As the HSE Officer you will be responsible for implementing all Health, Safety & Environmental activities throughout the facility and making sure policies are consistently maintained.

• Continually assess the status of HSE within the plant (ISO 14001 and IS0 45001)
• Develop, implement, and evaluate a health, safety, and environment roadmap/action plan for the facility
• To ensure risk assessment and accident management systems are in place and to take part in these as appropriate
• Monitor HSE performance, identify and establish corrective and preventive actions
• Support the delivery of training events for HSE Basics, Work Place Data Sheet and Manual Handling etc
• Manage all Health, Safety & Environmental requirements for the site
• Conduct HSE inductions for new starters

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

• NEBOSH Certificate
• IOSH Managing safely
• Qualified auditor for ISO
  45001 or ISO
  140001 (or hold relevant experience of auditing to these standards)
• Experienced working within a fast paced manufacturing environment within a HSE capacity.
