Are you an Electrical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? What You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you’ll be involved from concept through to delivery, with real ownership of your work. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing electrical building services across a diverse portfolio of projects
- Supporting projects at all stages, from early concept through to construction
- Producing detailed drawings, calculations, and technical specifications
- Working closely with colleagues across multiple engineering disciplines
- Managing your own workload to meet quality, programme, and budget targets
- Attending project and design team meetings as required
- Incorporating low and zero carbon (LZC) and sustainability principles into designs
- Supporting site activities and ensuring installations align with design intent
- Continuously developing your technical knowledge through CPD and exposure to new technologies
You’ll be motivated, technically curious, and keen to grow within a design-led consultancy. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A degree (or HNC/HND) in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- At least 1 year’s post-qualification experience in building services design
- Experience with software such as Relux/Dialux, Amtech, Revit, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of British and European Standards and Building Regulations
- An interest in sustainable and renewable technologies
- Working knowledge of BREEAM (beneficial)
- Professional membership or working towards membership (e.g. CIBSE, IET)
- The ability to collaborate effectively while also working independently
