Description
The client is an established Birmingham based Building Services Engineering Consultancy. They have a well-established client base which includes a high proportion of repeat business from long-term customers in the health, residential, education, commercial, MOD and leisure sectors.
Providing a full M&E design service from cradle to grave including the specification, design and management of all design services associated with M&E services.
The business is now looking to the future with a key appointment - Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer with 3-5 yrs commercial experience. The appointments will further enhance the companies strength and depth across their core engineering disciplines, as well as in return offer a tailored mentoring programme for an aspiring Design Engineer looking for progression and a long - term career in Building Services Design.

They offer an excellent mentoring programme including support for further education and chartership if required. The client are looking to progress you to Senior Engineer and beyond and to help do detail design to level four and five.
Ideally, you will be qualified to a minimum of ONC level (Building Services, electrical) with genuine experience in a Building Services environment designing a variety of refurbishment and new build schemes. This experience would ideally be within a Consulting Engineering environment, however our client is also happy to meet with Design Engineers who have worked for M&E Design & Build Contractors or Public Sector Institutions.
It would be expected that interested parties will have already grasped the basic principles of electrical design and be up to date with industry standard software such as Dialux, Amtech and Cymap
