Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting for a market-leading processing business that offers an opportunity for a Lead Engineer to join their fully automated factory in Perry Barr. We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a factory or manufacturing background, who is multi-skilled with either a mechanical or electrical bias, and holds an engineering qualification.

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with external contractors.
• Review and update maintenance schedules daily and weekly.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and maintain pre-planned maintenance schedules for the automated facility.
• Deputise for the engineering manager as needed.
• Mentor and coach junior technical team members to develop their skills.

• Engineering qualification.
