Site Installations Manager; Racking & Automation

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading, international supplier of various racking and automated storage solutions looking to bring on an Installations Site Manager to oversee the installations over projects across the UK. With a competitive package and great earning potential through overtime pay, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager with knowledge of both racking and automation projects.

• Overseeing Racking & Automation projects of various sizes across the UK and occasionally assisting on sites across Europe
• Managing external contractors on-site inclusive of installers, electrical/mechanical engineers and control systems engineers
• Ensuring both risk management and health & safety are adhered to on all projects overseen
• Working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed to pre-agreed time scales
• Communicating with clients and internal management with regular updates on the progress of projects

Our client is ideally looking to bring on an individual with a background in site management who has worked on both racking and automation projects. It is essential that you hold site certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, IPAF etc. and it would be preferrable if you held a SEMA racking inspection certificate however this is not essential. The role is national and there will be a high degree of travel required for the position.

In terms of location, there is a preference for an individual based within the Midlands but the company would consider individuals further afield with a strong background.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to bring on a Site Manager to work on both Automation and Racking projects.
