Job DescriptionOwing to continued demand and our ambitious plans for growth, we are recruiting Cost Managers with a proven track record and experience across the Power sector. Your experience delivering projects in Distribution, Transmission, Renewables or other technologies will enable you to support our clients’ ambitions.
As a Cost Manager you will work with high-profile clients, develop consultancy skills and diversify your sector experience. We are keen to support those looking to progress their career personally and professionally. We currently support hybrid working and consider part time applications.
Job Objectives- Suitably qualified & experienced operating at Cost Management level.
- Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
- Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage delivery of project deliverables, KPIs and objectives, including programme performance, cost control and value engineering.
- Manage contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
- Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. Ideally hold or be working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent. Contract Management (NEC3, Option C preferred).
