Planner/Senior Planner Opportunity in Planning and Development Consultancy in our Birmingham office.

You will provide advice and guidance on planning and land use to a variety of clients, including leading developers, house builders and investment institutions, local planning authorities and other public or third sector organisations, throughout all stages of the planning process including Environmental Impact Assessments.

Knowledge and Expertise

We expect candidates to have at least a 2:1 or equivalent at first degree, ideally a Master’s degree in RTPI/RICS accredited subjects, and have achieved or be working towards chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI).

Candidates should also demonstrate good analytical, presentation, and writing skills, together with a clear commitment to working in the planning and property development field. The role will require working on a number of varied projects, so a proven ability to manage your own time, workload and problem solve is critical. Ideally, you will also be able to demonstrate the skills needed to market and innovate as these are important elements of this role.
