Principal Electrical Engineer - Building Services Birmingham I'm working with a leading, design-led building services consultancy in a strong growth phase, with plans to significantly expand their Birmingham office over the next 12 months. This is a key leadership hire within a team that has a strong pipeline of secured work and long-term client relationships. You'll work closely with the local Director, taking ownership of project delivery, client relationships and technical leadership as the office scales.

The Role Lead client liaison as key technical contact Deliver and oversee electrical building services design across multiple projects Produce calculations, specifications, drawings and tender documentation Manage multidisciplinary coordination and project delivery Oversee financial performance, fees and programme Carry out site inspections and ensure design compliance Mentor junior engineers and support team development You'll also contribute to system selection and commercial decision-making, ensuring solutions are technically and financially robust.

What They're Looking For Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering Chartered or working towards (CIBSE / IET) Strong consultancy experience at Principal level Confident client-facing communicator and team leader Proficient in AutoCAD  working knowledge of Revit

Experience with AMTECH / Dialux / Relux (HEVACOMP or MEPWorx beneficial) Strong commercial awareness and project delivery capability Why Apply?
