Are you an enthusiastic Hydro-Mechanical Technician looking to make your mark in the aerospace industry? Join our client's dynamic team at their cutting-edge facility in Marston Green, Birmingham! We're on the lookout for dedicated professionals to help us build, evaluate, and test innovative hydromechanical fuel systems. Summary:
  • Start date:

    ASAP
  • Duration: 6 months with potential for extension and perm opportunities!
  • Location:

    Marston Green, Birmingham B33
  • Pay Rate: £21.43 per hour plus shift allowance once trained
  • Hours:

    37 per week Monday to Friday…early finish on Fridays!
What You’ll Do:
  • Building and Evaluating: Engage in the assembly and testing of hydromechanical fuel systems, including Fuel Metering Units, Fuel Pumps, and various military products.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with a diverse team of technicians, contributing to a culture of openness and shared success.
  • Problem Solving: Utilise your analytical skills to tackle repairs and troubleshooting challenges.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing operational processes and efficiency.
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
  • Education: Qualified to HNC/HND Degree level in Hydro-mechanical Engineering or have relevant experience.
  • Experience: Previous aerospace engineering experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work is essential, ensuring quality in every task.
  • Adaptability: Ability to cope with new demands and solve unexpected problems effectively.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team or independently.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical and fluid systems, as well as manufacturing processes, is a plus.
