We're on the lookout for dedicated professionals to help us build, evaluate, and test innovative hydromechanical fuel systems. Summary:- Start date:
ASAP - Duration: 6 months with potential for extension and perm opportunities!
- Location:
Marston Green, Birmingham B33 - Pay Rate: £21.43 per hour plus shift allowance once trained
- Hours:
37 per week Monday to Friday…early finish on Fridays!
- Building and Evaluating: Engage in the assembly and testing of hydromechanical fuel systems, including Fuel Metering Units, Fuel Pumps, and various military products.
- Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with a diverse team of technicians, contributing to a culture of openness and shared success. - Problem Solving: Utilise your analytical skills to tackle repairs and troubleshooting challenges.
- Process Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing operational processes and efficiency.
- Education: Qualified to HNC/HND Degree level in Hydro-mechanical Engineering or have relevant experience.
- Experience: Previous aerospace engineering experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work is essential, ensuring quality in every task.
- Adaptability: Ability to cope with new demands and solve unexpected problems effectively.
- Communication
Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team or independently. - Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical and fluid systems, as well as manufacturing processes, is a plus.
