RSK Geosciences, an RSK Group company, is recruiting for Surface Water Management Consultants to join teams based in Helsby, Derby, Coventry, Birmingham, Bristol and Hemel Hempstead. This is a full-time, permanent position.
RSK Geosciences delivers consultancy and design services to a range of external clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies and local authorities. Responsibilities- Production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites
- Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans
- Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements including the preparation of permits applications and exemptions
- Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency / National Resources Wales
- Response / management of environmental incidents including fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges
- This role is suited to someone with between 5 and 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector.
- Able to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
- Able to work closely and confidently with clients and regulators.
- A track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Commensurate with experience.
