Process Engineer

Process Engineer - 12 Month Contract Birmingham / Hybrid Working Outside IR35 - £55 per hour Are you a Process Engineer who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle? Do you have experience taking projects from front-end studies through to commissioning? Are you comfortable working in highly regulated industrial environments where safety and compliance are critical? What's in it for you?

£55 per hour Outside IR35 contract 12 month contract Hybrid working - based from Birmingham or home Long-term, technically challenging industrial project Opportunity to work across concept, design and commissioning phases What will you be doing? Supporting process engineering activities across the full project lifecycle Delivering front-end engineering studies and process design activities Producing process calculations, mass balances and technical documentation Supporting HAZOPs and other process safety reviews Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams Supporting commissioning and start-up activities when required Ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations Supporting process optimisation and continuous improvement activities Where will you be doing it?

You'll be joining a well-established engineering business delivering complex projects within highly regulated industrial environments. Their teams work on technically demanding projects covering everything from early-stage studies through to full delivery and commissioning. What you'll need Experience working as a Process Engineer within industrial or process environments Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from FEED/concept through to commissioning Experience supporting or participating in HAZOP studies Experience producing process engineering documentation including PFDs and P&IDs Knowledge of process safety principles and engineering standards Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
