Senior Quantity Surveyor – High‑Profile Infrastructure, Central Birmingham

Location:

Central Birmingham (Hybrid – 3 days office/site, 2 days home)

Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 + car allowance + leading benefits package

We are partnering with a Tier 1 main contractor and supporting them with their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a landmark infrastructure scheme in Central Birmingham. • Lead the commercial health of major work packages, focusing on NEC4 contract administration, leading CVRs, cost forecasting, and budget management.
• Lead the tender process and manage high‑value sub‑contractor accounts.
• Identify commercial risks and implement value engineering opportunities.
• Mentor and develop a team of assistant and project quantity surveyors.

• Proven track record as a QS or Senior QS within heavy civils, infrastructure or utilities.
• Deep familiarity with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
• Based within commutable distance of Central Birmingham, Coventry or Lichfield.
• Desire to lead teams and drive commercial excellence on complex builds.

• Starting salary of £60,000 – £75,000
• £5,000 car allowance or premium electric/hybrid company car.
• 25–26 days + bank holidays (option to buy 5 additional days).
