Senior Secondary Process Engineer. We are open to applicants looking for permanent, FTC or contract models of employment. • Lead the advanced development of secondary operations such as trimming, assembly, and finishing operations, ensuring capability, repeatability, and efficiency.
• Define and process flows, tooling, and equipment specifications to meet product and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to influence design for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Develop Foundation PFMEA, Control Plans, and process documentation to manage risk and ensure compliance.
• Support proof of concept with robust process controls and validation techniques.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, scrap, and cost while improving quality and safety.
• Lead problem‑solving activities for process‑related issues using structured methodologies (8D, A3).
• Develop initial technical specifications and requirements for supplier RFQ process.
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer‑specific requirements.
• Coach and mentor engineers and technicians to build process knowledge and capability across the organisation.

• Extensive experience in automotive manufacturing processes with a focus on the relevant discipline.
• Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and process validation techniques.
• Expertise in PFMEA development and risk management.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering; advanced qualifications desirable.
• Auditing experience (ISO/IATF standards) preferred.
