• Supporting delivery of major highways schemes across the Midlands.
• Applying cost intelligence principles to improve project performance.
• Working across both pre‑contract and post‑contract phases.
• Producing cost estimates, forecasts, and reports that drive decision‑making.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across clients, consultants and contractors.

Grade: Consultant

Location: Birmingham | Midlands Region

Discipline: Consultancy Quantity Surveying (RICS Accredited)

Department: Commercial Funding & Finance (Programmes & Advisory)

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or qualified by experience.
• Consultant level (not fresh grad) in Quantity Surveying with experience in highways.
• Experience in both pre‑contract and post‑contract estimating.
• Exposure to consultancy environments (or a mix of consultancy + contractor experience).
• Understanding of cost intelligence / data‑driven cost management.
• A proactive mindset: someone who wants to learn, question, and grow.
