Join our team as a Highway/Civil Design Engineer and contribute to schemes supporting the Net Zero strategy, including offshore wind farms, grid connection infrastructure, public road improvements, and other highway elements that deliver renewable energy infrastructure projects. You will work within a growing team on design and coordination tasks across multiple project stages.

• Working knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB)
• Council highways standards and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCDHW)
• Experience of highway/road drainage design
• Experience of highway/road alignment and earthworks design
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Experience designing SUDS (soakaways, swales, and attenuation ponds) to UK SUDS Manual requirements

• Experience in hydraulic modelling of surface water drainage networks, and related storage solutions
• Experience interfacing with local councils or trunk road operators to secure acceptance for road/highway improvement proposals
• Experience with specialist software such as Civils 3D, CAD, and Micro Drainage
• Experience in design management and/or project management

• BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent
