Severn Trent is hiring Mechanical Maintainers in the Birmingham region.
This is a regional field‑based role, where you’ll be based at our Frankley Water Treatment Works and provided with a company vehicle, mobile, safety gear, and tools.
Hours:
Mon–Thu 7:30–3:30, Fri 7:30–3:00 (flexibility on start and end times can be offered), plus standby will be required.
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, process, energy, or utilities environment
- Strong mechanical fault handling
Are you a Mechanical Engineer or Technician looking for specialist training, career progression, and premium overtime rates? No water industry experience? No problem.
Our treatment works operate as complex process plants, just like those in manufacturing, energy, or other industrial sectors.
If you’ve worked with process control systems and have a working knowledge of industrial mechanical installation requirements and standards, your skills will transfer seamlessly.
You’ll also get specialist training, work with advanced mechanical systems, and help prevent issues before they happen – keeping communities and rivers safe.
