new role As a Graduate / Early-Career Electrical Design Engineer, you'll support the delivery of electrical design and technical consultancy across a wide range of projects. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you'll be involved in:

Assisting with feasibility studies and early-stage design development

Supporting the production of electrical services designs from RIBA Stages 0-4

Preparing technical documentation, reports, and drawings

Completing site-based surveys, condition assessments, and inspections

Helping to review contractor information and technical submissions

Collaborating with multidisciplinary internal teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes

This role offers a strong balance of office, site, and client exposure, giving you early responsibility while still ensuring structured support.What you'll need to succeedWe're looking for someone motivated, eager to learn, and interested in building a career within electrical building services design. Ideally, you'll bring:

A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering Some exposure to building services electrical design - from a placement, internship, or junior role Competence in AutoCAD; familiarity with CAD/BIM tools such as Bluebeam or Revit is beneficial

Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with both colleagues and clients

A willingness to undertake site visits and travel across the Midlands

A genuine interest in the built environment and progressing toward professional accreditation (IEng/CEng)
