We are hiring 2 Graduate Transport Planners in our Birmingham office.
About the roleWe’re seeking two motivated Graduate Transport Planners to join our dynamic team based in Birmingham city centre. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the delivery of innovative, sustainable, and data-driven transport solutions across a diverse range of development and infrastructure projects.
As a Graduate Transport Planner, you’ll get experience in all aspects of transport planning, primarily focussed on public sector projects — including policy and strategy development, scheme optioneering and design, business cases, development control (reviewing transport assessment and travel plans), and transport modelling/appraisal. There are four big moves initiatives within the BTP, one of which involves ‘Transforming the City Centre’ through the introduction of City Centre Segments, an initiative to encourage sustainable travel. We helped to develop this concept and have continued to be involved in its ongoing design and implementation.
