We are seeking Experienced Civil Design Engineers, ideally from the Energy, Power, or related infrastructure sectors, to join our expanding Energy team in any of our UK offices. You’ll be part of a forward thinking business with ambitious growth plans, offering excellent long term career development and progression.
This is a chance to play a meaningful role in shaping the UK’s energy transition — from feasibility and front‑end engineering design (FEED) through to detailed delivery.
AboutThe Role
You will join a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team delivering civil engineering design across a diverse portfolio of energy projects nationwide.
These Could Include- Energy from Waste
- Renewable energy developments
- Hydropower & Pumped Storage Developments
- Interconnectors and grid connection schemes
- Substations and overhead line (OHL) works
- Energy buildings and enabling infrastructure
- Protection systems and civil works for power networks
Working closely with project managers, team leaders, and other engineering disciplines, you’ll support both FEED and detailed design stages, providing practical, robust, and innovative civil engineering solutions while contributing to successful project delivery.
YOUR IMPACTIn this role, you’ll play a vital part in shaping the infrastructure that underpins the UK’s energy transition. Your civil engineering expertise will directly support the delivery of sustainable, resilient energy projects, helping clients navigate complex technical, environmental, and regulatory challenges.
Working collaboratively across disciplines, you’ll contribute to innovative design solutions that improve efficiency, enable decarbonisation, and strengthen energy security. From early‑stage feasibility and FEED through to detailed design, your work will influence nationally significant projects that make a lasting difference to communities and the environment.
About You- Degree qualified (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Ideally working towards (or already holding) Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the Engineering Council / ICE
- Experience with in the Energy, Power, or related sector
- Engaged in the engineering community, with an interest in innovation, sustainability, and industry best practice
