Technical Trainer
Location:
Birmingham
Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 Basic + OTE (£45,000) + Specialist Training + Progression + Vehicle + Overnight stay + Package
Are you an experienced electrical engineer looking to transition from the field to a training manager role within a leading safety company? This position lets you build and lead a training team, work across various industries, and travel nationwide with stay‑away expenses covered.
Responsibilities- Train engineering staff across the UK to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver both theory and practical training sessions.
- Cover the UK territory, including occasional overnight stays.
- Provide instruction on PUWER and related regulatory frameworks.
- Experience as a technical trainer or in a related electrical engineering role.
- Strong desire to learn and ability to travel away from home.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Able to commute to Northampton for training; can reside anywhere in the UK.
