Senior Civil Engineer

Location:

Birmingham – Hybrid Office‑Based with occasional site visits. Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum, plus healthcare, pension, Christmas shutdown, and progression opportunities.

Our client is a well‑established and growing civil and transport consultancy that specialises in infrastructure below ground, including flood risk assessments, drainage, highways, landform and planning‑support services. They are expanding rapidly, aiming to double turnover over the next five years, and are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to help strengthen and grow their Birmingham office.

The successful candidate will work primarily in the office on feasibility and detailed design projects, supporting clients through construction stages and attending occasional site visits. They will take ownership of client relationships and project delivery, working alongside and above existing engineers.

• Prepare detailed drainage, highways and landform designs.
• Write flood risk assessments and technical reports.
• Support contractors through construction phases.
• Manage your own client relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Collaborate with and support senior engineers within the Birmingham office.

• Experience in civil engineering.
• Experience designing drainage, highways and landforms.
• Familiarity with Flow, PDS or similar software.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Right to work in the UK.
