- Complex infrastructure‑led developments valued in the hundreds of millions of pounds
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams on large, complex projects.
- Strong understanding of design assurance, governance and technical approval processes.
- Experience managing design programmes, reporting and performance tracking.
- Ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and senior project stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of programme risk and change management.
- Degree‑qualified in Engineering, Construction, Architecture or a related discipline.
- Significant experience within a Design Manager or Design Project Manager role on major infrastructure or building projects.
- Professional membership with a recognised institution.
- Chartered status (or working towards) is desirable.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the UK’s most visible transport infrastructure projects while working within an experienced Tier 1 delivery team.
If you’ve managed design delivery on major stations, airport terminals, passenger transport facilities or similarly complex multidisciplinary projects and are looking for a career‑defining challenge, we’d be keen to hear from you.
