AECOM is currently seeking a talented Senior Bridge Inspector to support our Bridges & Structures team in Birmingham.

This role involves a blend of remote, office, and field work, performing hands‑on inspection of bridge structures throughout the United Kingdom.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct thorough inspections of bridge structures across the UK.
• Prepare drawings, risk assessments, and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with the Bridges & Structures team on a variety of projects.
• Adopt a ‘right‑first‑time’ quality approach to all tasks.
• Maintain a minimum of 2 days per week in the Birmingham office.

• BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Lantra BICS accreditation – beneficial
• Confined Space Training – beneficial
• Commitment to working a minimum of 2 days per week in our Birmingham office.
• Strong technical skills in bridge engineering and a keen commitment to quality with a ‘right first time’ approach.
• Experience in the production of drawings, risk assessments and reporting.
