Week 1:
Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm Week 2:
Monday-Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm On-call rota Ongoing training and career progression

The Role As a Mobile Mechanical Engineer, you'll work across multiple school and healthcare sites, ensuring mechanical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. Your duties will include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC, boilers, pumps, heating, ventilation and water systems. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults. Completing reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs. Undertaking minor mechanical installations and upgrades. Identifying and ordering replacement parts. Maintaining accurate job records using CAFM systems. Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations. What We're Looking For You'll ideally have: NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing or a relevant mechanical discipline.

A recognised engineering apprenticeship. Previous experience within a building maintenance or facilities management environment. A full UK driving licence. Experience working within education, healthcare or large estate environments (desirable). Competent Person/Authorised Person experience relating to ventilation and/or pressure systems (desirable). The ability to successfully pass an Enhanced DBS with Barred Lists check.
