This is a permanent Revit Technician (MEP) role based in Birmingham, offering a salary between £30,000 and £45,000 per annum. The position involves working for a multi‑disciplinary consultancy that provides integrated engineering and development services. Responsibilities include producing detailed MEP models and drawings using Revit, coordinating designs with other disciplines, and supporting project delivery from feasibility through to completion. The role offers hybrid working and requires proficiency in Revit, strong attention to detail, and experience within building services.
You will collaborate with engineers and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, coordinated technical outputs across various UK projects.

As a Revit Technician, you’ll support the delivery of coordinated mechanical and electrical building services designs from concept through to construction. Working alongside experienced engineers and wider design teams, you’ll produce high‑quality BIM models, coordinate services using the latest software and contribute to the successful delivery of a wide variety of projects.
Responsibilities- Produce accurate 3D MEP models using Autodesk Revit.
- Create coordinated mechanical and electrical building services drawings throughout all project stages.
- Carry out model coordination and clash detection using Revit and Navisworks.
- Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to develop coordinated design solutions.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve design clashes.
- Assist with model reviews, audits and quality assurance procedures.
- Prepare drawings and models for design reviews, construction and project handover.
- Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project standards and client requirements.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, architects and external consultants throughout project delivery.
- Support the continuous development of BIM processes and modelling standards.
- Previous experience as a Revit Technician within a building services or MEP consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit for MEP modelling.
- Experience producing coordinated mechanical and electrical services models.
- Understanding of clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and collaborative workflows.
- Experience with COBie or an understanding of COBie data requirements would be advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
