Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing Engineering team in Birmingham. You'll play a key role in delivering innovative infrastructure and development solutions for a broad range of projects, working alongside architects, planners, surveyors, and urban designers.

• Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed‑use developments.
• Prepare and review detailed designs, calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
• Deliver infrastructure designs including earthworks, drainage, highways, and utilities.
• Oversee Section 38, 104, and 278 works.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to unlock development potential and support planning submissions.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and external stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure project success.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to developing a resilient, capable team.

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer, ideally Chartered or working toward Chartership (ICE or equivalent).
• Strong technical capability in civil engineering design, including drainage, highways, and utilities.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Info Drainage).
• Clear communicator with strong client‑facing skills.
• Motivated, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects effectively.
