ABOUT THE ROLE
You will join a collaborative and multidisciplinary planning team working across residential, mixed-use, commercial, industrial and regeneration projects.
The team is involved in a wide variety of work including planning applications, appeals, site promotion and Development Plan submissions, providing you with exposure across the full planning lifecycle.
You will work alongside experienced Senior Planners, Associates and Directors who will support your development while giving you meaningful project responsibility from day one.
The role sits within a wider integrated business, working closely with colleagues across design, transport, engineering and environmental disciplines, ensuring planning advice is practical, coordinated and deliverable.

- Support the preparation and submission of planning applications across a range of development types and scales
- Assist with site appraisals, planning research and feasibility assessments
- Contribute to the preparation of planning statements and supporting documents
- Support the promotion of sites through the Local Plan and Development Plan process
- Assist in the preparation of appeal documentation and supporting evidence
- Engage with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to support project delivery
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure coordinated planning advice
- Develop your technical knowledge and contribute to successful project outcomes across the Midlands
This role will give you strong exposure across multiple sectors and project stages, helping you build a solid foundation for long-term career progression.
ABOUT YOUYou are a Town Planner (ideally MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership) with some experience in consultancy, local authority or private sector environments.
YOU WILL BRING- A degree (or equivalent) in Town Planning or a related discipline
- Some experience in development management and/or planning policy work
- An understanding of the UK planning system, ideally with exposure to the Midlands region
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, enthusiastic and team-oriented approach
- The ability to manage tasks effectively and support project delivery
- A desire to learn, develop and progress within a supportive planning team
