You will work closely with the Environmental Manager and infrastruture teams to ensure environmental compliance and support the delivery of the project’s Environmental Management System.Key responsibilities:
- Provide environmental guidance to site and construction teams
- Conduct environmental inspections and audits
- Support implementation of environmental management systems
- Monitor areas including water, waste, ecology, noise, dust and pollution prevention
- Manage environmental risks, incidents and corrective actions
- Produce environmental reports and promote best practice
- Support and mentor junior environmental team members
- Environmental experience within construction or infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Environmental Management Systems and ISO 14001
- Experience completing environmental inspections and audits
- Degree in an environmental or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience
- Practitioner-level IEMA membership or equivalent
